Am Karfreitag, den 18. April 2025 und Karsamstag, den 19. April haben wir Fenja vom Altenburgerland mit einem rein DDR-gezogenen Deckrüden in Ostdeutschland erfolgreich eingedeckt. Etwa 1300km sind wir dafür gefahren, 4 Progesterontests wurden durchgeführt. DDR-Welpen sind rare Liebhaberhunde. Nach dem Decken gehen wir 28 Tage später zum Ultraschall, um festzustellen, ob Fenja aufgenommen hat.
Ultraschalltermin 16. Mai 2025
Beim Ultraschall am 16. Mai erfahren wir endgültig, ob wir Welpen erwarten, wissen dann aber nur die ungefähre Wurfgröße, klein, mittel oder groß. Wie die Geschlechter ausfallen, weiß man erst bei Geburt. Auch die genaue Welpenanzahl steht erst einige Tage vor der Geburt nach dem vorbereitenden Geburtsröntgen fest.
Ich rechne beim D-Wurf vorab mit 6 Mädels und 2 Rüden bei einer mittleren Wurfgröße. Das ist eine Schätzung. Zu den Farben: Wir erwarten stark pigmentierte, dunkle Welpen in den Farbschlägen dunkelgrau, black and tan oder ganz schwarz. Der Geburtstermin wäre der 16. Juni bei einer Abgabe der Welpen ca. Mitte August 2025, falls es geklappt hat, was wir zur Zeit noch nicht wissen…
Es wäre Fenjas D-Wurf. Sie hat sich diesmal mit ihrer Läufigkeit länger Zeit lassen, sodass wir beim Geburts- und Abgabetermin einen Monat hinter der ursprünglichen Prognose liegen.
